What are the different types of Order Text (OT) that Customer Service can use to make notes on an order?
Customer Service can use 4 different types of Order Text (OT) The first is "M" Order Text, which is for Internal use only, this can only be entered and viewed by EPT employees, customer who check status on their orders via e-Link or P2P cannot see or enter "M" Order Text The second type is "I" Order Text (OT); notes entered on "I" Order Text (OT) appear on the Invoice. The third type is "S" Order Text (OT), notes entered on "S" Order Text (OT) appears on the shipping documentation for the warehouse to view.This is used to advise the warehouse of special shipping or packing instructions. The fourth type is "B" Order Text (OT), "B" stands for Both, and this type of Order Text (OT) will print on both the invoice and the shipping documentation. Also, when you are viewing Order Text (OT) you can enter an * in the Document Type field and all Order Text (OT) on that order will display.
